In 2006, a group of occult apostles, led by the mysterious Ferando Edge gained control of all satelite and outer space weapons systems. Under Edge's instruction, hi-tech lasers melted and carved apart the South Pole sinking the world beneath a new Flood...

The purpose of dissolving the polar icecap was to unblock frozen ethereal streams that mystically link the Earth to the Seven Underworlds, releasing the Sons of Darkness from imprisonment in the demonic spheres. Led by Abbadon, Grand Lord of the arcane planet Gia, the Sons of Darkness swarmed to Earth seeking 'justice' for their 12,000 year exile to the Infernal Regions.

The demonic force invaded and conquered America, as a broken and defeated US Government irradiated their lands in a desperate 'scorched earth' policy. The United States, now an archipelago of islands because of the flood, was swiftly transformed by its conquerors into a stygian landscape of indomitable fortresses and macabre torture devices. Immediately, the Sons set about extracting their revenge on the 'faithful' left behind after mass evacuations to Neu Europe.

In the vast continent of Neu Europe, mankinds' last 'civilization' has regressed to the level of an almost medieval theocracy. Religious superstition, and blind fear of the Sons of Darkness is rife in a violent world of misery and suffering. Demonic agents, changelings wielding arcane powers, have been implanted in Europe to prepare the way for an invasion from America. To combat this terrifyinf threat, a new breed of Witchunters and Inquisitors have been given complete control of the United Ministry.

As the new Inquisition intensifies, the religious authorities learn of the existance of Sakti. Protected by the Seth Community, a pacifistic religious order founded by the last refugees to escape from America, she is a mysterious young woman said to possess a supernatural aura. As the Seth encampment is placed under an intense siege, Sakti insists on standing in its final defense. She will harness the powers she has suppressed since childhood, and wield a sword of Astral Light.

Facing an overwhelming Inquisitorial army the embattled Sakti is close to defeat, as a mystical visitation descends from the sky. The angelic Sons of Light have been sent by the Divine Force to monitor the Earth, but mutinous dissidents question the Creators intentions and rescue Sakti from certain death.

These new 'rebel' angels reveal that throughout time there have been myriad 'Earths', each destroyed by the 'Artificer' because evil took hold of the globe. Now, their former Brothers are to assess if this world should also be turned to dust. They need Sakti's manifest abilities to halt this judgement from taking place, but as she fights by their side, Sakti soon discovers that evil is pure knowledge, and that on Earth they are all captives in 'the cage of human souls' from which they must break free.

Written by Ka Gunstone, this epic series explores ideas and concepts from mythological and religious beliefs.
