15/06/13 - Updated some dodgy scripting which might make combat a little less likely to break. Fixed broken links to some graphics on Information page.

11/01/08 - Updated Daggerford graphic and tidied up some java which was causing errors in the towns.

10/01/08 - Updated the Cacodemon Altar in Snakepipe Hollow with new graphics and temple healing. Updated graphics for Delectis Tower, Dwarf Mine, Clearwine and Sundome.

09/01/08 - And now you can get healing in any Temple, assuming you are of the right pantheon... guess I'd better start updating some of the city locations next... At the moment the only location that has been tested is Apple Lane.

08/01/08 - You can get healed in the All Gods Temples now, for a moderate donation of course!

03/01/08 - Finally sorted out the layers issue and populated the map with a lot more monsters. Added some location names for things like forests and rivers. Populated the Chaos Caves in Snakepipe Hollow.

31/12/07 - Tidied up some background code and started on image layers to show type of monster.

08/11/05 - Fixed a glitch when saving and loading your character.

12/10/05 - Updated a link on the links page. Hey! This sort of works. Maybe I'll fill it out a bit more.

28/10/04 - When you save your character, you also now save any damage they have taken!

27/10/04 - Added random money for the monsters.

26/10/04 - You can now save your character in a city/town (rather than on). Have also done some tydying up to the interface for character generation. The Tavern generates rumours and equipment (but you can't buy stuff yet).

25/10/04 - Dwarf Mine city graphic updated. I've allowed the player to rob money from corpses!

17/10/04 - Iron Spike city graphic updated.

10/10/04 - Apple Lane city graphic has been updated.

09/10/04 - Torkans Last Fort and the Wild Temple city graphics have been updated.

07/10/04 - Updated some of the city graphics, Irist Hold, Jaldon Rest, Jaldon Kill, Jordar Keep and Rune Gate (if you go visit them you'll see why this particular bunch have been done!). I seem to be developing a style for them...

03/10/04 - Finished updating the building graphics, next related big job is to create the main graphics for the cities and towns. I'll try to remain true to any existing maps, but from the searches I've done so far, I think I'm going to have to create a lot of them from scratch.

The combat system does seem to work but there are update problems, it obviously still requires some tinkering...

I've removed the sorceror spells, mainly to simplify any future developments concerning spells.

29/09/04 - I've done some small changes during Character Creation (cheers Mat) which should make things a little less confusing, but, for the moment, I'm still letting you spend more than you have on equipment. Think of it as a loan.

The new building graphics are comming together quite nicely, but that just means that I've got to get the city maps sorted soon too...

27/09/04 - I've been upgrading the building graphics. The only place you can see them at the moment is in Apple Lane and they're not complete but it's getting there.

14/09/04 - Tweaked the combat system again, still dosn't work.... Updated the save locations, I missed some previously, and I'm looking at money for the moment...

06/09/04 - I've updated the combat system. It sort of works in a flaky way at the moment, and there are only monsters in Snake Pipe Hollow, so don't expect too much...

08/08/04 - OK, so after mucking about with the cookie settings I successfully managed to bugger it up. But it's fixed now, a small problem with copy and paste...

I've made a number of additional changes as well...

You can only Start a new game after you have created a new character, if you are continuing a game use Load Character and, with the now working cookies, you should be able to continue from where you left off. I've reduced the amount of time that the cookie hangs around, you only have a month now, not a year to refresh it. On the subject of cookies, when you create a new character the old cookie is instantly deleted now (stops unwanted old data appearing during character generation).

When wandering around in Snakepipe Hollow you will probably be accosted by some wandering monsters. If you do meet something you will either get a rumour or one full round of (automatic) combat, it largely depends on your religion. You can die and so can they but it is ONLY one combat round and you can't continue the fight at the moment (so watch out for the dinosaurs!).

I've removed the links from the map of Sartar (did you even know they were there). Its purely a resource for the player to help get bearings now, and not a magical teleporting device.

Also, I am the newest member to the Glow Ring, check it out for other quality RQ websites (many of which I have plundered for info and resources myself).

05/08/04 - after a mega long break I have now enabled the player to save their location in the map. Once you have saved your character, when you load it later the character will appear in their last known location, not at their home town.

10/10/01 - tidied up some of the graphics that I wasn't 100% satisfied with. Eyecandy, really, but I think it makes the whole site look a bit more polished...

08/10/01 - you can now Save and Load your character between visits to this site. The cookie should take up no more than 4k and is designed to last for a year

25/9/01 - made a small change to the right info bar update. Previously I made it update every 5 seconds. However, once I was able to observe this function in action and online I decided that it slowed the site down too much. The info bar now updates only after specific actions by the player. Still working on the Save and Load functions.

21/9/01 - sorted out the missing files from the partial upload. Added a little bit of fine tuning to the character generation, finally allowed the priest and shaman to have full access to their magic. Have begun work on the combat system, this might take a while (at the moment there is one location on the map with monsters, but you can't hurt them and they can't hurt you). Have begun to look at the possibility of Saveing and Loading of existing characters, I might try to work this out before I complete the combat and monster functions.

18/9/01 - This site goes live, with some problems caused by my isp doing a server upgrade. Many sections still uncompleted.
